Currently trying to raise some money for a charity event I am doing later in the year.

I work in a smallish (about 15 people) office and am trying to think of some fundraising ideas.

So far I'm thinking a cake sale, maybe a breakfast morning where I'll bring bacon butties etc..., Or a baby photo contest.

Can anyone help me with ideas please? It's a really important charity to me and I'd love to raise a good amount!

The charity is an animal one so if anyone has any ideas that would be great!

In the nicest way possible, I think a work related thing has to be as infrequent as possible - and not involve any 'homework'.

I think a once a week 'butty club' £2pp might be the simplest way to raise funds. (more if you want to be upscale, but cheap and cheerful should still make a profit).

I would not get involved with bringing photos in, or buying cakes, personally.

Also check with management first, unless you are management!

We made up baskets of Easter eggs and related stuff (just the example as it was March) and had 3 of them. Each of us had a book of raffle tickets, person bought a strip for £1 and put their name and number on it. We sold all 3 books round our work places, classes we went to and our hubbies work.

My friend did something similar and raised about £500. Think hers was a Cadbury's hamper.

•Raffle (ask local businesses for prize donations)
•PJs to work day
•Bed push
•Cake Sale
•Guess how many jelly beans/coins in a container
•Shave or dye
•Charity cycle or fun run
•Table Quiz
•Family fun day
•Fancy dress party

Thank you!

I'm open to public fundraising ideas too outside of work.

My work place is very laid back they wouldn't have a problem joining in a cake sale or anything I don't believe. Everyone has worked here for tens of years and are very friendly with each other.

Stationary bike cycle or rowing machine - see if you can do it somewhere public like a supermarket

Break a silly world record

Wear jeans to work every e.g Wednesday - £2 if you do. This can run for months
