I've had abnormal bloods spanning over half a decade and just keep getting the run-around. Pissing me off and I'm worried.

My ferritin is low, IGA is high, Serum Gamma GT is high, mean corpusc haemoglobin in low, eosinophils are high,

The IGA, Eosinophil and Serum Gamma GT are over double "normal" and have been for over five years.

I'm honestly shit scared.

have you seen any specialists or only GP? Have you had any tests other than bloods. Are all your other bloods OK? Have you got a copy of your bloods so you know what you have had done and what the actual numbers were so you can compare with any changes? Have you had the tests Lavenderbluelilly above mentioned?

Have you had the following checked : ESR, kidney function (U&E), Calcium, Paraprotein and Bence Jones protein?

No, but a saw a neurologist last week (was referred with suspicion on Myasthenia Gravis but told unlikely due time frame), he's ordered every tickable test on the chart and written others in.

Hopefully I can ask my GP for a copy of the results.

Just GP and this Neuro. Had gallbladder and appendix removed few years ago.

I can track the bloods I mentioned originally and their rates over 5-6 years, all above where they should be, except ferritin which is low.

I recognise some of tgeee results Frye to our DDs health problems

Abnormal Eosophils & IgA are linked to allergies

Low iron could be colitis & DD has allergic colitis, allergic to soy & cochinealso it could also tie in.

I agree with getting a second opinion & a referral to a gastroenterologist & maybe a allergy clinic

I'd also suggest looking into B12 deficiencies my DD also turned out to have that & B12 injections helped her allergies & other intolerances a lot

Deffo will look further into, this, there's history of autoimmune disease, eye conditions, rheumatoid arthritis (itself an autoimmune), and occurrence of IBD and coeliac, although I stay as far away from family as I possibly can.

Thanks so much for all of your help, you're sensational and I'm grateful for the time taken to reply Smile

hopefully neurologist will shed some light, or if they can't, refer on to rheumy.
