The wet vac!!

I accidentally pulled Henry down the stairs the other day and I wasn't even sorry. Serves him right for being such a piece of shit.

I lent our Henry to a neighbour and was delighted that she broke him.

OTOH a mate runs a country pub. He’s had the same Henry and the same carpet for over 15 years and they both still look like new. My mate doesn’t look too bad either.

We used to have one. DH used to call it the ‘little bastard’ as he dragged it around.

DH loves Henry and won't hear a word against him. I honestly think it's the male solidarity bit, as he was firmly instructed to get a Hetty for the holiday home, and came home with - another Henry.
(We also have an industrial grey shed vacuum, who has a painted on face, complete with stubble and a smoking fag, called Bert.)

I like the sound of Bert. He sounds much more down to earth and less smug.

George is stroppy and spits his bolt out and water goes everywhere.

is it really a different experience using something like that?

I do sometimes struggle with Henry, it can be hard work.

Oh I totally hate Henry. And his evils twins and cousins. Their gormless laughing faces

I have a Bosch vacuum now which is quiet and amazing. Its heavy so it stays put and doesn't leap forward and bash me in the ankle or try to drag me downstairs like Henry did. I thought being heavy would be awkward but its the opposite, its just pivots and its as if its not there. Its a revelation!

You are all bu and cruel! I love henry. I used to be a cleaner in a nightclub and he even sucks up sick!
I have my mum s old Henry at home and he s been going strong for 12 years and sucks up cats fur and everything.
Ok he s got a drink problem and often falls on his back and he has hit me in the face with his hose but we all have bad days.
