To gift DD’s pre-school with some handy resources.

DD is leaving Pre school soon. She’s had a fab time and I appreciate all their hard work particularly because she has additional needs.

I plan to buy her key-worker a gift but was thinking of buying some resources for the pre school as a thank you gift. Some books, pens, paper etc etc

When DS left the same place we donated £50 to them (its a pre-school ran charity) but we cannot afford that this time around. So thinking maybe £10-15 of books, pens etc (I know this won’t buy much).

Would it be appreciated??

I just want to be able to say thank for all their support.

I think that would be a lovely idea. Perhaps a handwritten card for her keyworker, but speaking as an EYP, we get a LOT of chocolate flowers and mugs! As lovely as they all are, you can only use so many mugs! A gift for the pre school is a wonderful idea.

Punctuation fail. Chocolate, flowers and mugs. Not chocolate flowers obviously...

The only thing I’d wonder is if they have a wish list - ours are collecting loose parts for example, buttons, pine cones, pebbles that sort of thing.

Lovely idea. Books are particularly nice. We have some which say 'donated with love from the McBooky Family' and I always find it touching to see.

GLUE STICKS!!!

Please ask them what they want, they will be so happy to be asked. I run something similar and we always need compost and sand. Felt ate great but we only buy a certain make because of the lids

Yes definitely; I worked in a pre-school and we were most grateful to any parents doing this! When my DD left hers I bought them some equipment for the garden.

We're also doing gardening equipment when DD2 leaves in August. Much more practical
