Charge the bullies with manslaughter

There is a news story today about a 14 year old who lay in front of a train and was killed. It turns out that a couple, or more, of children knew he was being bullied.
Should this be something that is investigated further and if proved that he was being bullied that the bullies should be prosecuted? (Or however the justice system works if the bullies are children)

There are always a few ring leaders
My
Own DC had a meltdown about bullying this week so I am incredibly upset to read this . They get feral at the end of term

A through investigation will be done and I hope and pray the ring leaders are made to face up to this consequence of their actions

Fuck this has upset me

An absolute tragedy. The bullies are in part responsible for inducing feelings of despair. But did they intend to drive to suicide? I hope not. They need to have the consequences spelt out to them. In the end though suicide is a decision made by an individual.

I think there is more awareness of bullying & support such as Childline than decades ago when I was at school. More open conversations can only be a good thing.

24/7 social media does not have to be a given. Most of us are just not willing to be super strict parents in this area & I include myself in that. It is not victim blaming it is a comment on our priorities as a society.

My DD goes to school near this one and she won’t take the train anymore because of the vile behaviour of some of those students. They systematically taunt students and it is definitely bullying.

Oh I've always said that. Infact I'll go as far as to say. Its murder not manslaughter. If the cunts and I'll call them cunts werent making his this poor boys life an absolute living hell.He wouldn't have taken his own life. How many more.children have to die before someone sits up and take notice. He was 14 not much more that a baby, in the grand scheme of things. His only worry should have been where his next pair of trainers are coming from.
I wouldn't even want to contemplate what his poor parents and families are going through. To lose your child in anyway doesn't bare thinking about, but to lose them to suicide knowing they were in that much emotional pain.

Read this and it is heartbreaking. Oh my the poor boy, the poor driver and his friends who saw it happen. Poor poor boy. 😢

Just seen one of the tributes. It read
"Sorry life wasn't kinder to you, sweetheart"
I'm Sitting here absolutely sobbing.
I'm glad my dd gas left school. I've still got my nephews to get through school yet, though. I just pray they're okay. I used to worry about stupid things. Now my only worry is anything happening to my dd or my nephews. That would just finish me.
