To be worried about flying with Ryanair this Summer?

We've never flown with them before, this Summer will be our first time but I've read so many bad stories lately in the news.

Has anyone else ever flown with them and was it been a normal experience haha! unlike the ones I keep reading about.

I don't trust their apps for boarding passes.
I used their app on a flight once a week for more than a year without a single issue. Saved a stack of paper.
