People eating using my fork

A couple of times when I’ve been in a restaurant or at work, people have asked if they can have some of my food if I’ve finished eating and then proceed to use my (eaten from) cutlery to spear it and eat. I also had a friend ask if she could have my used fork because she forget to get one from the baskets of cutlery. This has happened a couple of times now so although I thought it was a one-off I’m wondering if I’m overreacting because I think this is VILE unless it’s your partner or children. Would you use someone else’s cutlery after them?!

I hate sharing food drink or glasses/bottles/forks etc. Always did even as a child. I don't share a drink or anything with anyone - not even dh (yes I know that one is irrational) and not my children. DH and kids do.

I find myself a tiny bit anxious watching cooking programmes where they dip a spoon in the saucepan and taste - I need to see that spoon go into the sink and not back on the countertop.

But I wouldn't care if someone used my fork that I was no longer using though - that's on them.
