My neighbors are dealing

The police don’t give a crap not enough staff to deal with it and the council are useless. They’re all on benefits, how? I don’t know as they’re all fit and healthy adults.

Are your neighbours' dubious activities impacting negatively on your life?

Have a fucking guess.

WeirdWoman · 11/07/2019 22:37

Tell the police that your neighbors misgendered you. The police will be round in a jiffy.

justasking111 · 11/07/2019 22:37

Our council sends out letters to landlords insisting they evict people like this. It is a round robin because then they move onto other rented premises and it starts again.

Anyone who peddles cannabis should be hanged from a gibbet erected in the nearest town centre or green (where's the biggest green space in the centre of Wythenshawe, say), surrounded by a pile of their own weed, and the whole thing set alight. That might send a message to those following in their footsteps.

serenadoundy · 11/07/2019 22:44

If none of them work what benefit fraud are they committing?

Curious because you have just described neighbours. Police know the small time dealers, and of course they are not interested. Our next door openly deals in our small town. They have lots of children and have had social work involvement for years. For some bizarre reason they are deemed acceptable parents.

Please don't call the police and say they have a gun though - that would trigger a large scale response that takes officers away from other serious crimes.

My neighbour is a massive weed dealer. Doesn't bother me. He's not discreet about it at all, but never loud parties, antisocial behaviour or anything similar.

It dekends how it's impacting your life and, if it is, to what extent.

x2boys · 12/07/2019 08:20

Yeah mine are too ,they are ok actually ,friendly enough but the constant comings and goings are a bit of a nightmare , they are a young couple he's a bit of a prat arguing in the garden late at night , etc but nice enough I suppose they also have some kind of ongoing feud with a neighbour opposite but it seems to be six of one ,half a dozen of another to me, I keep out of it

x2boys · 12/07/2019 08:24

But for all.of that they are very kind to my youngest son who has severe autism and learning disabilities, so as long as it doesn't impact my life I stay out of it .

Shinyletsbebadguys · 12/07/2019 08:31

Frankly police are not going to have the resources to deal with them if they are low level pass on dealers. It sucks but the more effective way in an area especially if the wider area has a bigger drugs problem is to target the drugs coming into the area and the supply lines

If they are violent and there are constant incidents that genuinely put people at risk (weapons etc) then they bump up the issue queue.

Often as much of a pain as it is for neighbours you need them where you can see them . As someone said upstairs I've known many dealers professionally that other than the smell if it's cannabis are lovely neighbours and are careful not to let their clients cause any issues in their road

It depends how approachable they are ...i wouldn't be happy with people tying the wrong house...some you can have a quiet word with and ask to be more clear.

If the police don't listen there is a reason for it. Probably not one they can tell you.

It's not great OP and I'm sorry, it makes life hard for you , but please don't take some PP advice if you lie and say there is a gun there the amount of trouble you will get in is huge armed response will absolutely know you are talking rubbish when they attend. If police have already warned you in regards to the amount of reporting you could well find yourself in front of a court if you then lie about swing firearms

WhoWants2Know · 12/07/2019 09:07

Behaviour wise, there's usually a big difference between people selling /smoking weed and those who deal in the more expensive stuff. Unless it's a grow house, whatever cannabis they have will be worth less than the time of the officers to keep arresting and releasing them.
