Honestly I'm being a fucking pig at the moment and none of my usual methods for containing my greed are working currently.

I don't know what to do. I hate myself.

Exercise! Honestly I've been the same after each baby and the only thing that helps me is exercising. It gives me that high and makes my body feel better, and I end up fancying takeaway a bit less.
Mixing up your routine can help too. So if you usually watch tv in the evening, have a bath or read a book instead

Lots of self hate OP. Cut yourself some slack. Youve had a baby, it takes time to lose the weight, youre tired, hormonal. Yes sign in on a weight loss thread if it makes you happy but dont go on about how youre a disgusting pig.

soarin If I lost 4 stones I'd have lower blood pressure.

How did you get the liraglutide? How do you find the side effects?

I need help

damnson · 10/07/2019 21:30

It's soarin, I've done the monthly name change.

Sorry to those I've pissed off by recommending this Saxenda.

Just saying it's amazing and the bloody secret for me.

I'm a lovely 10 stone now, feel ace, and another stone and I'll be the weight I was in my early twenties.

I got it from theonlineclinic, proper CQC registered pharmacy and assessed a s prescribed by a doctor. Costs me about £65 a pen which lasts me about 2 months as I no longer use it regularly. I've honestly saved money on takeaways and shit on shopping though x

I think that obesity is complex, misunderstood and realistically, I need help to shift it.

Delighted this worked for you.

Will google.

vivariumvivariumsvivaria · 10/07/2019 21:43

Hang on, did you see your GP who prescribed it, and you fulfil the prescription privately?

The online pharmacy don'ts say they'll prescribe. My GP is fairly helpful, but, obviously, reluctant to prescribe.

WeWantSweet · 10/07/2019 21:45

Not helpful, but I've found myself concentrating on food and drink more the emptier my life has become. With a young son, that doesn't sound like the same source for you.

Eugh, I'm so there. I'm always so hungry! 2 months post emergency c-section I'm not really able to do any decent exercise (like running or skipping) and don't have the time to go swimming or anything when I have a breastfed baby who feeds all the time (still literally every hour) and a toddler to spend time with in the evenings.

I'm hoping that once I'm not awake all hours of the night I'll not feel so hungry. Once payday gets here I'm going to invest in some filling snacks so I'm not always reaching for crisps and chocolate, Blush and one day maybe I'll even get 2 hours to myself to go to the gym! Sad
