To not be able to fathom one single fuck

First trimester with my first and I am so. TIRED.

My house is a tip and needs a proper clean, I need to wash my hair, I could do with a proper scrub myself to be honest, the washing needs doing, you get the picture, I'm basically a slob right now.

AIBU to not give a single fuck though? I have never experienced tiredness like this (I'm sure there will be worse to come), it's like I get in from work and I just can't move. I can't muster the effort it takes to care that I could do with tidying up etc..

H works longggg hours and is often away through the week so it's not like he's here to do everything instead.

AIBU to just fester for a bit?

My first trimester was horrendous. I was sick morning, noon, night (and through the night too) I was just exhausted. I didn’t take a single day off work and should have done. Just fester and look after yourself.

Oh this hit me hard too. Exhaustion mixed with insomnia, I was up at 4am without fail for months. I figured it was practice for a non sleeping newborn.
I got caught speeding by a camera on my way home from work, I passed it every day, knew it was 30 mile zone but in my pregnancy tiredness fog thought it was 40mph. Awareness course for me.

I remember that. I felt even my little toe was exhausted. I've never known anything like it.
Just sleep. Forget everything else and sleep.

I could have written this post I'm 9 weeks with dc2 and just about functioning. The house is beyond messy! I don't remember it being this bad last time!

Yanbu. Mine's been shit too. I find myself resting a lot though sometimes i feel guilty. Rest while you can.
