Posting here for traffic.
Basically I've been having issues with urge and stress incontinence for a while now and it's getting worse. I usually have at least one "accident" a day. Not full bladders but a fair amount.
I would like to use pads to feel more confident and secure what are the best kind??

Had flu last month then awful cough had to send someone out for something for me, they bought me Tena Lady. Bulky but essential in my case.

I mean this kindly but you’ve posted about this - in depth - over the last few months and been given detailed advice on products and creams. At this point, only a medic can really advise.

@Gibso it's really sad as that was my first instinct but I replied kindly as I thought myself a cynical bitch. I really hope not. Maybe hq can take a look

I'm not a troll. As I stated further down the thread I'm embarrassed to see my doctor and I'm just looking for the best advice to manage this.

What pp is saying is you post often about your continence issues and that consulting your GP is your quickest way to solve.

Hello folks - just a friendly reminder that troll hunting is against our Talk Guidelines - report your suspicions to us rather than air them on a thread. We've had a look at the OP here and can see no evidence she is a troll.

OP I don't want to frighten you but this happened to my cousin and she had bladder cancer. She has been treated and is thankfully in remission, but please please put your embarrassment aside and see a doctor.

PsGal · 06/07/2019 09:54

Hi OP. I am at the stage where it's leaking but not massively so. I went to the GP and got seen quickly by the hospital and pelvic physio.

It's really not as embarrassing as you may think but it could be any sort of problem. In my case my bladder can't fully shut off so I will need some Botox in the area to help it stay closed when needed.

Hope you find the strength you need to go Thanks

After trying several alternatives, I use Tena Pants for a relative, and they are supplied by the Continence Service. Ask your GP for a referral.

You definitely need medical advice for this to be happening so young. I started using washable panty liners as I hit the menopause and had irregular but quite light bleeding. I continue to wear them daily and their absorbency is quite effective but would not contain a full on wee. However, they have lasted a few years already and it is great not to have to buy endless panty liners and worry about the planet! I would have thought that period pants would also deal with small leaks but not a gush.

‘Tena plus’ pads are very absorbent 🧽
