Today DD had her school fete. Her class had a stall where it was one of those name the bear things and she was very excited about it. Anyway I couldn't attend as I'm working so my mum went with her.
My mum dutifully named the bear on her behalf and lo and behold she won. However another child's parent with the same name as my mum took the bear and buggered off home with said bear

DD is really upset and my mum has ordered her another bear online as she feels so bad.
I don't know the mum well enough ask her about it and I certainly don't want to drag DD's teacher into it. I'm just pissed off because surely you would know that you hadn't chosen that name and had taken something off another small child (they are 6).
