To remove bars off cot bed of a 22 month old toilet training.

So my DS toilet training at 21 month old. He has done brilliantly, no accidents really and he is now (23months )mostly dry through naps and nights (although I still pop a nappy on)
He has climbed out of his cot during a nap and in the morning a few times

He had also pulled down his trouser and nappy twice now in his cot bed and weed in the corner, he has then started crying which has made me wake and go in and see the mess.
Should I remove the bars so he can wee in the potty himself?
If I do remove it should I remove his nappy now for naps and sleep ?
And any other advice very welcome
Sorry for this being in AIBU but this seems to be the only place with any real traffic

Thanks everyone, yes I have turned the changing table around for now, so the shelves and drawers are up against the wall, just a flat back so he can't climb. Yes they are not near the window, he pushes anything he can to climb, so we have just moved everything.

The reason why I want to keep the changing table is that it is good as shelving and has drawers in it, but will get DH to engineer something to make it impossible for DS to climb on. It matches his other furniture also.

We have had to move his nursing chair and stool, I no longer breastfeed but strangely quite emotional to see it moved out !!!

@mumwon, yes definitely a climber here lol. Thanks for the advice re the window, will see how we get in and will definitely do that if needed, thank you.

Yes @Iggly definitely but even if I screwed it to the wall, he would still be able to climb on it in the night and fall off, so stupid question all round of me really 😳😳😳
