Outgrown joie car seat already!

It's meant to last up to 18 months. My son is 8 months, he's small for his age and the headrest is too tight already. I have to wedge his head in it but have no money for a new car seat.

Can I take it back 8 months later as my 8 month old has outgrown it or will they tell me to sod off because it's been so long?

All the reviews on their site say the same but it was new and had made for mums gold award at the time so we went for it.

I echo the above advice to join the suggested Facebook page. minimum requirements in the UK for a car seat to be legal are shocking (crash tested to 18mph I think?) and those generic seats - the Mania/Cuggl and other one linked to are unsafe - there's videos of them in the files section of that FB group where they're in low speed crashes and the harness has ripped straight through the body of the seat.

Omg I have this car seat too and worried about the exact same thing. The women in mamas and papas said it was fine against their head as it was more supported 🙄. I do regret buying it tbh!
