To wonder wtf this is, on my leg

I don't think it's a tick. Can't see any legs. It's on the top of my leg, on the outside, sort of edge of my rump.
Maybe 1cm across.
Doesn't hurt.
Just wtf is it?
AIBU to be revolted and ask you for your thoughts please.

If it's suddenly appeared it won't be a melanoma.

Be careful about the difference between 'just appeared' and 'just noticed'

Every single bone or muscle tumour I have ever seen was in somebody who claimed it only appeared last week, when in reality they would have been enlarging for weeks or even months.

In my opinion, the safest thing is to treat this as a skin cancer until you know it isn't. If you go and see your GP / Dermatologist and you're wrong - so what? If you leave it and you're wrong - game over...

I went to the doctor with similar (thinking it was a tick) on 2 pharmacists' advice. The doctor wasn't sure till he got his lens out , but it was an angiokeratoma.

Are you a GP? If not, then I suggest you don’t tell someone she’s wasting an apt for getting something check that COULD be something sinister, it could be a blood blister but unfortunately no one, apart from her GP can tell.

I have a lovely one on my chest. It constantly cycles through being itchy and bleeding then swelling up and doing it again. It's also very sensitive and sore. I am on a looong waiting list to have it removed.

Hi. Can we please have an update on what this turned out to be? My wife has something near identical, and we are freaking out, but can’t get a dermatologist appointment for at least a few more days.

Go to the doctors @Dpdwill. It could be lots of things, but it could be malignant melanoma (skin cancer) so get it seen.
