DCat has taken to waking me with the sun for his breakfast Angry

But I've been having a v early morning cuppa in the garden listening to the birds. If I crane my neck enough I have a lovely view of some beautiful fields. Peace and quiet before DD and OH wake up. Lovely

peachgreen · 01/07/2019 14:52

My bed, especially when it has clean sheets like tonight.
Cleaning my make up brushes.
Cheap Korean sheet masks.
Inbox Zero.
Glossier's mint Balm Dot Com.
A proper cup of coffee.

pigsDOfly · 01/07/2019 14:52

That little moment when the dog and I get back from a walk - especially in the winter when it's cold outside - and I sit down on the sofa with a cup of coffee and a book and she jumps up beside me and settles down with a contented sigh.

Best part of the day.

Looking at my gorgeous rescue dog, and knowing whatever conflicts happened in her past, her future is guaranteed to be love, all the way.

All dogs deserve love, but this one has my heart in the palm of her paw.

And she knows it

EssentialHummus · 01/07/2019 14:59

My morning coffee (bonus points if I wake before toddler DD).
DD saying new words - she’s 21 months and just at that stage so every now and then I’ll say something and she’ll repeat the last two or three words of my sentence Smile.
Growing things from seeds - it’s so simple but just being able to look at my window sill and see little leaves popping up and unfurling with nothing but the sun and water, feels like magic!

squashyhat · 01/07/2019 15:02

My cat. Not so small but very simple indeed, bless him.

transformandriseup · 01/07/2019 15:12

Taking my 2 month old DD for a walk in her pram twice a day through our quiet village. It’s only the time I have to myself.

NaviSprite · 01/07/2019 15:13

Cuddles with my twins first thing in the morning.

DS falling asleep in my arms like he’s still a little baby (he’s a toddler but loves his cuddles to sleep and I won’t stop until he doesn’t want them anymore!)

First coffee in the morning.

DH bringing me home treats “just because” (usually snacks or drawing equipment, anything he sees that he thinks I might like).

Finishing an art project (currently doing my twins bedroom up with Duggee decorations I make myself).

The massive purrs I get from my cat Loki when he’s getting a fuss.

Just a few but these make my day - every day (usually 😆).

My baby's fat feet and his dinky first shoes. How 70s he looks in a wee babygro, socks and shoes in the hot weather. How lovely it is when he reaches up his arms for a cuddle.

familycourtq · 02/07/2019 00:05

I often feel fortunate having a morning shower. So lucky to live in Country with clean affordable water I can use to shower most days.

sweetkitty · 02/07/2019 00:09

My new rainfall shower, after months of not having one and the old one being rubbish it’s lovely.

All my pets

Bunnylady53 · 02/07/2019 00:26

My lovely bunnies - we have 3 now, each with their own little personality & funny ways ❤️
I could do a whole list just of food or drink but I particularly love slicing an avocado & the thrill when it’s perfectly ripe
Glass of chilled rose
DD’s wonderful giggle
DH’s funny ways & sayings
Group hugs with my family
Posh bars of soap from TK Maxx
Looking at or preferably swimming in the sea
Finishing work on Sat afternoon, knowing I don’t have to be in again until Tuesday
Finding a bargain, especially in the charity shop

JaceLancs · 02/07/2019 00:44

My fab family
Reuben my youngest cat - so loving and stress relieving
My shoe collection
Ditto jewellery
Having lost 5,5 stone
I (apparently) look young for my age
Sadly this makes me reject suitors

6triesbuttingout · 02/07/2019 01:14

The spoons!! I have wooden spoons that belonged to my mum, my nan, and great nan. I use them all the time but I still can’t cook like they could

Saracen · 02/07/2019 01:24

Hot water. For many purposes, especially baths. Isn't it wonderful?! I often think of my ancestors who would have had no inkling that water could be hot, unless they were in the very unusual situation of finding a hot spring.

MidniteScribbler · 02/07/2019 01:55

Getting to walk on the beach every morning at sunset, when I'm nearly always the only person on the whole beach.

TwiceAsNice22 · 02/07/2019 02:01

The sound of my daughters voice when she comes up with a great idea. Her voice just changes and sounds so enthusiastic and happy!

Getting into a really hot bath with a new book to read

Opening up all the windows first thing in the morning to let the fresh air in.

pintoffginplz · 02/07/2019 02:04

Been lucky enough to have a large garden to tend too. Lived for years in flats or private rented places and I missed having a garden so much. It was something that me and my dad did together when I was little. I love potting about in it, it calms me.

pintoffginplz · 02/07/2019 02:05

Oh and just to add!
My non verbal little boy saying 'mummy' it's like music for my soul Star

AmICrazyorWhat2 · 02/07/2019 02:11

My recent wardrobe purge of clothes that I'm really not going to wear/don't really fit anymore. Grin It's so nice and tidy now!

A good cup of coffee or tea in the morning.

Swimming - if I'm reincarnated, I'd like to come back as an aquatic creature.

echt · 02/07/2019 03:04

The (mostly) deep quiet of the neighbourhood I live in, even more so at night.
Rainbow lorikeets scoffing the nectar out the flowers on the banksia in my front garden.
The dog crashed out at the end of the bed each night.
My drive to work along a road that follows the coastline. Even better when driving home Smile
Being able to see the Milky Way on clear nights (very little light pollution here)

IamEarthymama · 03/07/2019 03:40

*tellmewhenthespaces”
It is lovely, this was a mining village so post industrial landscape in which, while the scars to the land have healed, those to the communities and infrastructure are still obvious

I love, it though and count my blessings every day

AnnaNimmity · 03/07/2019 05:36

Sitting drinking coffee now in my lovely bed with new white bedding on while everyone else is asleep - the sky is lovely

running first thing in the morning

walking to school holding my dds hand while she chatters away , ds on the other side of me

a clean house

riding to on my bike to meetings during the day - I feel so happy to be out and about and lucky that my job allows me to do that (and actually go to meetings, which strangely I like)

HotChocolateLover · 03/07/2019 05:39

My swing seat in the garden. I just love sitting on it, cider in hand, just relaxing on a warm evening.
