Has anyone been? Hoping to go later this year and although the good reviews massively outweigh the bad, all the bad ones mention over crowding. We'd be hoing around 2pm on a Wednesday for a couples massage, food and spa use.

I was going to recommend the Gainsborough too. It’s great and the spa is much nicer than the Thermae Spa which I have to agree with a pp had far too many snogging couples for my taste last time we went.

Been its amazing but id avoid the afternoon. It gets vvvv busy then. We went all day and certainly noticed hugh difference in afternoon.

We went for a Valentines years ago, wouldn't recommend that! Queues around the building just to get in, the rooftop pool was like people soup and felt like cattle the whole way round! The changing areas were also a bit grim. But this years ago, and if it's a quieter time may be better.

It's very very busy. Nice but crazy busy. If you are thinking a relaxing romantic afternoon forget it, it's mostly 20/30 something tourists
