To expect my oh to brush his teeth once a day ?

Just been charging the electric toothbrushes. What i thought was OH's turns out it was my old one. When i asked where his was he said in his bag in the bedroom.. its been there since he was in hospital 2 MONTHS ago!

Honestly shocked. My teeth brushing habits are not perfect, sometimes I forget to brush at night but always in the morning.

He's currently sulking for saying to him about it

So he hasn’t brushed his teeth in 2 months??? How did you not notice?!?!
Are they not brown by now?

LineRunner · 27/06/2019 21:51

I don't believe you wouldn't notice that your sexual partner hadn't brushed their teeth for two months.

hormonesorDHbeingadick · 27/06/2019 21:51

You are also unreasonable to not brush your teeth twice a day.

WhereForArtThouBray · 27/06/2019 21:52

Surely his teeth would have yellow blankets on. He must have brushed with your old one.

Frouby · 27/06/2019 21:55

He has brushed his teeth. He's been using your new one. He thought it was his and now he can't admit it because you will shout at him for using yours.

There is no way he's had dental treatment and not brushed his teeth. It would be like going for a smear without showering that morning.

NoSauce · 27/06/2019 21:58

I don’t understand you. How has he been brushing his teeth once a day if his toothbrush has been in his bag for two months?

MamaWeasel · 27/06/2019 22:00

Frouby makes a very valid point

Littlechocola · 27/06/2019 22:02

Even my grotty children brush their teeth twice a day.

Disgusting.

orangesandlemon · 27/06/2019 22:05

The nights I think ahhh it will be okay not to brush just this once are the nights I cannot fall asleep. I have to get out of bed and do it. It's just grim otherwise. And in the morning. Always twice a day.

When I was a teenager I was a bit gross and my early twenties about teeth brushing but the last 8 years, I am religious about it. I don't feel clean otherwise

poopypants · 27/06/2019 22:08

Oh this is awful. Brush TWICE a day. Floss once a day.

MumUndone · 27/06/2019 22:08

Just, no.

letsdolunch321 · 27/06/2019 22:09

How op has not noticed is beyond me !!!!

Leftielefterson · 27/06/2019 22:11

Oh dear god that’s vile. I don’t feel fully clean if I don’t clean my teeth at least twice a day. Always carry a travel toothpaste and brush with me to brush after lunch too most days.

BlueSuffragette · 27/06/2019 22:15

Yuk vile. What's the rest of his personal hygiene like? Sounds grim.

I didnt notice because i didnt think i was his mum who needed to.remind him all the time.

His breath doesnt smell at all. Only time i would say it smelled woulf be if he drank a coffee.

His dentist appointment was a week before he ended up in hospital which was about 2 months ago.

I do generally brush my teeth twice a day, occassionally just the once.

Also what tooth brush have you got that doesn’t need charging for two months!

BlueCornsihPixie · 27/06/2019 22:38

You would know if he hadn't brushed his teeth for 2 months! His breath would reek! And you'd probably be able to see the plaque on his teeth

If he hasn't that's truelly vile. There's more bacteria in your mouth than your arsehole, think of all that shit covering his teeth Envy

margherita5 · 27/06/2019 22:38

Have you been kidding him OP?

xyzandabc · 27/06/2019 22:44

If he really hasn't brushed his teeth in 2 months, there is no way you wouldn't notice. My dd is teeth brushing adverse, if she hasn't done them in a couple of days, I can see straight away. They just look yellow dirty and fuzzy from plaque. You would notice, you really would. Another who thinks he's been using your toothbrush.

Geminijes · 27/06/2019 22:50

Have you kissed him in the last 2 months?

He sounds disgusting. How can anyone forget or not be bothered to brush their teeth?

I feel so sorry for all those people he has spoken to in the last 2 months.

margherita5 · 27/06/2019 22:52

*kissing

Excited101 · 27/06/2019 22:55

I’ve gone 2-3 days without brushing a few times before, it really is grim. You can properly see and feel just fluff all over your teeth. That first brush after is like heaven!

Chloe9 · 27/06/2019 22:57

Eew gross

TeaIfYouPlease · 27/06/2019 23:08
