For those of us luxuriously appointed in the boobage department (I'm a natural double F cup) wibu to try applying Mitchum (anti-perspirant) under my boobs? and on my back too sweat is making my bras soggy! Urgh

I also recommend a dusting of talc to absorb! (GG here and know the pain)

ETgo · 27/06/2019 10:19

I’ll be following this - sounds like me 😂

ThighsRelief · 27/06/2019 10:26

Talc here but also an underboob swipe with a face wipe a couple of times a day. Very annoying, plus Savlon at night.

When it's very hot a couple of strategically placed hankies between boob and underwire can help. You have to style it out if the hanky drops to the ground though.

Likethebattle · 27/06/2019 10:59

Talc contains asbestos so is not a good thing to use. Cornstarch is better or lush dusting powder:

NarcsBegone · 27/06/2019 11:04

You can get under boob sweat soaker uppers! I'm not sure on what they are called... I'm currently wedging a wide strip of jersey fabric under my bras and the relief is immense.

Hecateh · 27/06/2019 11:25

Strip of old flannelette sheet.

I've actually made about a dozen, the right size, doubled up and stitched - I did it last summer when it was so hot but I use them all the time now. So much more comfortable

TheOrigRightsofwomen · 27/06/2019 11:42

I came across one of those life-hack videos where a women put a panty liner in the cups of her bra (like a sort of hammock). I guess it's just the same a breast pads for breastfeeding.
I have no idea if that would work and won't be trying it as mine are tiny!

GruciusMalfoy · 27/06/2019 11:44

YANBU, but beware it may irritate you as the skin is more sensitive there. I've done it with kitchen, and it helps.

GruciusMalfoy · 27/06/2019 11:45

With Mitchum! *

ElectricLions · 27/06/2019 11:47

Lanacane medicated powder, available in Boots is good.

QuestionableMouse · 27/06/2019 11:50

Kitchen sounds a bit big to wedge under even the most generous boobs. 😂😂😂

Mine are enormous (currently 38J!) and I use a folded cotton hanky under each boob. They dry quickly so you can swap them out as needed and stay fresh.

I'm also considering making a boob powder from corn flour and bicarb to dust with. I'm iffy about normal talc because of the (not strongly proven) cancer link.

aPengTing · 27/06/2019 11:52

I use antiperspirant under my boobs all the time. It works.

XXVaginaAndAUterus · 27/06/2019 11:52

Talc contains asbestos so is not a good thing to use

Is this actual fact or urban myth? I can't see it still being sold if this were true.

The trouble with cornflour is it stains clothes, I find.

QueenGoblin · 27/06/2019 11:55

I started wearing bikini bras in the heat. Doesn't necessarily stop the sweat but definitely feels less noticeable.

The challenge is to find decent underwired ones that aren't halter neck or have weird ruffles on the cup. Worth it though.

bellabasset · 27/06/2019 11:56

Toilet paper, flush and renew when you pee.

Bluerussian · 27/06/2019 11:56

My boobs are average sized but I get sweaty under them. I always spray deodorant in the area. I dry myself thoroughly, lift them and then spray. I thought everyone did that! I also similarly spray my bum crack (though not the hole). When I had a bit of a tum years ago I'd spray under that but I don't now as have no excess fat.

CrowleysBentley · 27/06/2019 12:00

Superdrug medicated talc and a spritz of sanex antiperspirant here. Also non wired cotton bras. They look a bit old lady but they are so much more comfortable in the hot weather, so I don't give a shit.

Snowy81 · 27/06/2019 12:04

I’m a 34H- I’ve found a good supporting uplift bra, so you are not dropping so much, and I used to use a wipe I bought off the internet, I forget the name in came in silver and green packets and was marketed at cheerleaders to prevent underarm sweat in their uniforms. Wasn’t the cheapest. But wipe it overnight, and wash off the next morning, and it would prevent sweat for over a week.
As I’m now not as active as I was use, I use the wipe on wash off deodorant, it’s about £10, comes in a little white roll on, available in all all good supermarkets. Again can’t remember the name, but you’ll find it with a quick look on a few supermarket sites.

ohfourfoxache · 27/06/2019 12:08

Sure max works well. Personally I wouldn’t go near talc because of what has recently been revealed about baby powder

DianaT1969 · 27/06/2019 12:31

I recommend switching to soap if you use shower gel. It's a game-changer. No red patches and rash underneath from the first week I switched.

Naturally talc contains asbestos, probably tiny amounts but still there.

ranibowsprimkle · 29/06/2019 18:18

ASDA do a liquid talc made with tapioca starch instead of talc so no asbestos

Waveysnail · 29/06/2019 18:18

I use Sure block roll on before putting bra and def a good underwire (also good on the thighs to stop chaffing)

Sparklingbrook · 29/06/2019 18:21

The Asda liquid talc is really nice and about 99p.

Oh, it's 87p! Got some good reviews.
