To be wary of vapers around DS

Less AIBU, more WIBU to be annoyed by the following.

DS is 9 months. DH smoked when i met him, vapes were then invented and he had one that broke, never had the money to replace it or for cigs so just quit. His family still vape/smoke.
We were at FIL house with DS playing on the floor crawling up to each person in a "pick me up please" way. FIL picked him up, was playing etc then put him down and said "im coming back to play in a min". Left the room and came back in with his vape, puffing away in DS face.
Now, im not 100% sure of the effects of second hand vape smoke so feel free to educate me, but i wasnt happy about it but wasnt unhappy enough to ask him to stop (considering we were in his home).
What would you have done?
For a bit of background, DH family are a bit relaxed about what is done around and in front of children. Eg. FIL suggested SIL vape when pregnant and has recently suggested some more illegal ways to relax when kids are in bed. Dont know if thats relevant but thir attitude towards it gets my back up. I think if he had done it in our house DH may have asked him not to but i dont know.
How would people feel if this was them?

There is enough evidence in the WHO study to make me unhappy with people vaping around my kids. It's a systematic review so they look at all studies including those run by the tobacco/vape industry.

https://www.who.int/tobacco/industry/productregulation/BackgroundPapersENDS34November-.pdf

Page 29 deals with passive inhaling and page 40 has the conclusions.

The links not working for me, must be because it's a pdf but I can't find the link quickly on the WHO website.

This is how it appears on google.

I'm not overly concerned about the health effects of second hand vaping, but I personally bloody hate breathing in others' rank cherry bakewell clouds, so I wouldn't be happy with people vaping in my baby's face either. It's just rude. Envy

@AquaPris I don't know whether it is in the UK, maybe. I live abroad. I have colleagues who added vaping to smoking cigarettes - smoking cigarettes indoors is illegal so they smoke outside and vape inside Envy [not envy] They admit to not having cut down in cigarettes at all, just added vaping as well...
