Irrefutable evidence that Duggee is pilled up to the max.

I love Hey Duggee. Children's TV should all be more weird.

@MyVisionsComeFromSoup

Please show your friend this thread! Duggee is pure genius, we absolutely love it. And as a PP has said, it's educational!

@TheVanguardSix shall one put the kettle on?

Thankyou, Mumsnetters, for this thread. My children are in their 30s and I am correspondingly old, I have no grandchildren, and I have been walking about all morning singing, "Stick, stick, stick, stick, sticky stick..." Grin

I may set it as my ringtone. Just because.

LittleMissNaice · 26/06/2019 12:37

The Hair Badge though ..... safeguarding.

sar302 · 26/06/2019 12:48

My toddler is obsessed with the stick song. He's learnt to say "stick" before "hi" or "bye" 😂

My husband thinks that Duggee is a secret raver. Definitely on the pills. He'll also look at me occasionally and give me an "awhoof" with a wink. Probably best the toddler doesn't understand at this point...

PeoplesFrontOfJudith · 26/06/2019 13:09

Yesss so much Duggee love.
All the pop culture references for the parents are ace. Agree with PPs favs are still the omelette badge - oh Antonio!
The tadpole badge for the teenage frogs, but also the get well soon badge because I love that they changed the beginning to take Nori out, and the “we’re going to Nori’s house” song, caterpillars got a little cough bleeeeurrgh, and it’s the first time we meet Chew Chew

I think I enjoy it more than the 4yr old now Grin

Sarah & Duck is a close second for the pinnacle of current little ones tv. Classics

jackparlabane · 26/06/2019 13:50

I love Duggee (thankfully the 7 and 10 yo still watch it when mean mummy makes them compromise on a programme or the TV goes off...)
Though my favourite is the episode of Newsnight where Kirsty Wark has to explain there is a campaign to get the Stick Song to no.1 and it goes like this...
I posted that clip on FB as further evidence for my overseas family that the English are completely mad!

MordredsOrrery · 26/06/2019 17:31

@MyVisionsComeFromSoup yes, please tell them how much love there is for Duggee and the Squirrels. It saved my sanity in those sleep deprived days with a just 2-year-old and a newborn.

Now 3-year-old acts out the Caterpillar Badge, which is great fun

hennythe100footbird · 27/06/2019 14:00

I've just ordered Duggee banners and a card for DC's birthday........

I'm not sure out of the two of us who loves him more..... I think it might be Mummee..... 😂😘
