Exercise induced anaphylaxis

Shamelessly posting for traffic as allergies is so quiet.

On Sunday I developed a red itchy rash on my legs. I'd been walking through long grass on Saturday evening so figured it was a grass allergy as I am allergic to grass. I take a prescription antihistamine so didn't really expect much of a reaction. My legs were covered too aoart from my ankles and lower calves.
Tonight my legs are pretty much covered and it's intensely itchy. I've taken fexofenadine this morning and piriton this evening to see if it calms it down.
It's been very muggy here today and I went on a 10 mile bike ride this morning, cane home and showered, ate a cheese baguette sandwich and became even itchier and the rash spread to cover most of my legs. It's an urticaria type rash. I felt quite sick after my lunch and as though I was running a fever but it went off after an hour or so and then I felt ok apart from this rash driving me crazy.
Googling the rash brought up exercise induced anaphylaxis and I was hoping somebody could tell me about it from experience. My ex-SIL has it but I am no longer in touch with her.

I have asthma, hay fever and occasional eczema but have never had this kind of reaction before. No new anything like washing powder, soap, cosmetics etc.

Thus is what it looks like. It's flared again tonight and is driving me nuts as it's soooo itchy! I've taken piriton and am hoping it will calm down. I haven't got anything to put on it at all except epaderm ointment for eczema of my daughters. It's really thick stuff though so would have to wear on bottoms to cover my legs otherwise it would be everywhere!

It's only on my legs too. I can't figure out what is causing it. The pollen is ok today as only sneezed once. My chest feels less tight. No itching eyes. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I had chronic urticaria for years (now diagnosed as food intolerances coupled with high stress)... As well as fexafenadine and Puriton I found that sitting in a warm bath until it went cold was the only way I could get relief. I really feel for you Sad I still break out in the winter when going from outdoors to indoors (rapid temperature changes)

My ds used to have this allergy when he was 17 - 20,it got worse and worse including swollen eyes and Airways. It is no joke. Fortunately it eventually burned itself out after a few yearz which I understand is often the case with this allergy

fas this and it used to be really bad

The epaderm really helped! I just lay on a towel until it soaked in. Result! I guess the piriton helped too but the epaderm relief was within a few minutes.
I had a skin prick test when I was 12. Pollen, grass, cats, dogs, feathers. It was done privately but I wonder if there's a record in my paper notes at the GP? I'll email and ask.
