To not have known what an ombre lob was?

I read it on here and googled it. Some of the photos of this look really nice. But I had wondered why some of the woman I see looked so "made up" but had let their roots grow back so much.

I have only just found out what this is! Explains so much why I keep seeing people who look like they need their hair re-coloured as their roots are growing out. How is this a good look? Maybe it’s supposed to go with the whole massive dark eyebrow things that also look strange and fake? Does this mean I’m old??
