To shame the grown men that deliberately frighten babies

KissmyassTeamAMGUK · 23/06/2019 19:08

Just putting the babies in the car after a days shopping at Trafford Centre.
Parked on the indoor car park bit, expecting it to piss down as standard.
So there we are, just getting the babies, 8 month old twins in their seats and 6-8 sports cars pull alongside our car. They can see we have babies, watched us putting them in their seats, haven’t even folded the pushchair up, in fact, one of the fuckers nearly hit it as they were lining up....
So they sit there revving then all of a sudden launch the cars right next to us, popping and banging. Honestly the noise was horrific. These are not your average corsas with bits of kids, this was TEAM AMG UK and grown fucking men in their mostly leased performance cars. Bits of kids don’t own this shit.

Btw, really smart putting the name of the car club on the car when you’re gonna behave like a bellend 😂😂😂😂😂

Anyway, couldn’t wait 2 fucking minutes for us to leave first, or better still take the smallest dick contest elsewhere!

For what it’s worth, I can appreciate the sound of a decent car, and yeah in the right place right time fair enough. But to do that right next to babies just makes you look what you are....... A CUNT!

Rant over.

Yes, I imagine they spend most of their spare time driving round looking for babies to deliberately scare Confused

Then of course they'll race home and log in to their favorite parenting website to see if they've got a mention.

FrangipaniBlue · 23/06/2019 20:13

@WorraLiberty 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

furrybadger · 23/06/2019 20:14

looks like someone’s posted this on Instagram and tagged team amg, highly doubt they purposefully frightened your babies, have your babies not heard loud cars before 🙄

Sparklesocks · 23/06/2019 20:16

As others said I don’t think it was deliberately targeted at your kids, sounds like they were just revving and speeding about - still annoying of course, but i don’t think it was solely to make the kids cry.

RosaWaiting · 23/06/2019 20:16

oh I hate these wankers wherever they are making a noise

do they have a set place to meet up? I doubt they targeted you for the babies, but they are just wankers full stop and they should....oh actually I'll shut up now.

RosaWaiting · 23/06/2019 20:16

I also don't know what "bits of kids" means btw.

WipeYourFeetOnTheRhythmRug · 23/06/2019 20:16

I know men exactly like this and I believe you, OP.

TheCanterburyWhales · 23/06/2019 20:19

I believe the cars made a big noise.
I believe the drivers are probably happy to make big noises in their cars.
I don't believe they saw you and thought "way hay, let's scare some babies".

missyB1 · 23/06/2019 20:26

Wether they set out to frighten the babies or not is irrelevant, they saw the pushchairs presumably they aren’t blind. You would hope that someone behind the wheel of a car might actually notice what was going on around them, or is that too much to ask?
“Bits of kids” is a common enough expression but so what if you haven’t heard it before?
OP they sound like a bunch of cunts.

ninecoronas · 23/06/2019 20:31

Genuinely surprised by the number of posters here who've apparently never been on the receiving end of a deliberate backfire by some twat in a souped up dickmobile. Yes, they do think it's even funnier if you're pushing a baby in a pram and you both jump a mile. Nice one Team AMG, your inadequacies are showing....

womaninthedark · 23/06/2019 20:31

MN is full of psychics who can read the minds of people they've never met, never even seen. As you were actually there, OP, I think I'll believe your interpretation rather than theirs.

UrsulaPandress · 23/06/2019 20:33

Every day’s a school day.

Grown ups meet up to rev their car engines?

Thought it was just my twatth neighbour who had to rev his car and bike engines for 20 minutes before he sets off to warm the engine up and for 20 minutes when he returns to allow it to cool down.

Mummyoflittledragon · 23/06/2019 20:38

They sound like idiots. Making up for inadequacies.

cuppycakey · 23/06/2019 20:44

Eh?

TrickyKid · 23/06/2019 20:44

Yanbu although I doubt they even noticed your babies. It makes me cringe when I see people in cars like this acting like excited 5 yr olds.

mumwon · 23/06/2019 20:49

hey their dm might be on here (visions of dm standing over - OK next to - ds & saying how he upset someone on mumsnet! Grin )

azulmariposa · 23/06/2019 20:58

...in their mostly leased performance cars

Nope, they would own them as they aren't allowed to do any mods if they lease them.

Also, there's no point in having a rant about a loud noise that made your babies cry, you'll spend more time on here than anything else otherwise!

BackforGood · 23/06/2019 21:19

Your whole thread is unreasonable.

Your title isn't what happened, your OP is confusing and assumes the rest of the world know what you are talking about and that you are just carrying on a conversation we were already in.

As others have said, ( Worra Grin) I doubt if they are that likely to be reading MN, for them to notice your offence.

GibbonLover · 23/06/2019 21:42

“Bits of kids” is a common enough expression but so what if you haven’t heard it before?

Because we don't know what it means. Bits? What, like just an arm or a leg or something? Can someone please explain?

Anyhow, two things immediately spring to mind. Firstly, I bet this thread ends up on Pistonheads, just like AdBlue woman yesterday. Secondly, the earth revolves around the sun, OP. Not around your children.

RosaWaiting · 23/06/2019 22:28

I’m keeping this in watch just to find out what “bits of kids” means Grin

DappledThings · 23/06/2019 23:05

I’m keeping this in watch just to find out what “bits of kids” means

Ditto. Also want to k ow what launching a car means and popping and banging. Is it making it jump forward? Like your revving too hard in the wrong gear?

Lllot5 · 23/06/2019 23:14

Bits of kids just means kids really. Not fully grown trying to show off trying to behave grown up. Bits of kids.

RosaWaiting · 23/06/2019 23:20

Lllot, thank you!
