To ask if it's a pain to use reusable coffee mugs?

I've finally bought myself a nice reusable coffee mug but now I'm trying to figure out which size of coffee to order in different places and worry it'll be a faff for whoever's serving me.

Any tips on making it as straightforward as possible?

I'm so used to it now I don't find it a faff - I have a couple stashed in my car, one on my work desk and one in my bag so I always have one nearby.

I only drink tea so I don't know how charging per size works though, sorry!

My top tip would be that if you leave one to go mouldy in your car, you will really struggle to get the musty smell out 😂

Oh, and I nearly always rinse my own out in a bathroom/at work but if I can't, they'll rinse it if I ask!

I make sure I've drunk the dregs then use a tissue to give it a quick wipe inside then leave the tissue in and pop the lid back on. By the time I'm home the tissue has soaked any last liquid up and there hasn't been any leaking. Just pop in dishwasher then.
