If my ndn was Boris, I'd record it. Anyone else, no

greenlloon · 21/06/2019 21:09

Agree. They probably got paid for that recording too also potentially illegal.

I would and have, when neighbours were recently screaming and smashing things and the kids were screaming for help (I called 999 first then taped what I could in case it helped).

Guardian journalists have stated that the paper doesn't pay for tips, for what it's worth

MakeLemonade · 21/06/2019 21:41

If my neighbour was a slippery politician like Boris I would record it so it couldn’t be spun as being a lie as part of a campaign against him.

Passthecherrycoke · 21/06/2019 21:42

Why don’t you contact the police and report it if you think it’s illegal OP? They won’t do anything, but might satisfy you

TheInebriati · 21/06/2019 21:44

YABVU, recordings can be useful evidence.

And you maybe haven't heard of The Nolan Principles?
