I'm fond of lists and nice ways of presenting info so feel like there's lots I could get out of Excel - I'm sure there are super organised MNers who could give some inspiration.

I use Excel a lot in my work, with pivots, macros, advanced formulae and the like, so Excel is my 'go to' tool.
I track my annual leave accrued/Flexi time on a workbook, and I have a routine budget one and several for our new build (what options we're considering, how much of our incentives voucher is left, savings, how much savings we'll have at completion). I also tracked the sales prices/incentives/time on market for the houses on our estate until ours was due for release - it gave me some handy stats to cite when negotiating!
We had one for our RSVPs for our wedding, so when people replied online it stated their meal choices/dietary requirements and allowed me to build the table plan from there. I could then just send that straight to the venue.
