To ask for your top tips for Sunday London Trip - Petticoat Lane? Ramsay restaurant? Churchill's War Rooms?

Hi all,
Looking at taking my dad who is over for a visit, plus my DH and teenage DCs , to London on Sunday.

Thought Brick/Petticoat Lane markets might be fun, and maybe Churchill's War Rooms in the afternoon- anyone experienced either/any top tips?

Also trying to find a restaurant ideally in between- DDad is rather unadventurous with food so probably needs to be a grill type place - wondered about Gordon Ramsay Maze Grill but wasn't sure if they only do the Sunday Roast menu on Sunday?

All advice gratefully received! Thanks

St James Park is really lovely with Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey all a short stroll away. Here are some restaurants with views if you want to push the boat out:

Well Columbia road is chocka from 11am - not as much fun as you'd expect but better than Petticoat Lane. Id go to London Bridge tube, walk to Borough Market and maybe Tate modern and then get the river taxi to Tate Britain - a very cheap river trip. And have lunch at Tate Britain which is much nicer than Tate modern.
Or.
Do Portobello Road from Notting hill - that is a very vibrant street market and lots of cafes and restaurants (though not easy to get a big table at?).
Or,
Go to the V&A, walk up to the Serpentine and walk through Hyde Park - cafes there too.
OR
Go to Kew Gardens. Gorgeous. Glasshouses, walks and cafes.

I don't really suggest borough as full of tourists but you do have sausage baps and bacon/burgers which is a good balance of not that adventurous and street food.

@Bouledeneige Borough market isn’t open on Sundays.

The fiu on market isn't but a lot of the cafes, bars and restaurants are. It's a bit nicer without the hoards!
