.......Fletcher.

She's always off to exotic places, appears to have an endless amount of friends and distant relations willing to host her and ends up in the thick of drama every week.

It's how I want to retire!

I may have bought my bike specifically for it's resemblance to JB's.

I may also hum the theme tune while I'm riding it.

Totur · 20/06/2019 22:21

Jessica is your dear distant aunt who doesn't like to impose, yet manages to have murderers follow her...

It always makes me giggle how the murderer just basically admits to the whole thing at the end, including their motive, method etc. No-one ever asks to see a lawyerGrin

x2boys · 20/06/2019 22:25

I.caught a bit of an episode a few months ago and one of the characters was a very young George Clooney.

CanoeDoYouThinkYouAre · 20/06/2019 22:29

Chucky It's proper cosy up on the sofa when it's raining tv isn't it?

My DH also takes the piss but little does he know I'm actually plotting his murder. I'm going to frame the local weirdo but my entire plan will be rumbled when I let something slip to an inoffensive looking pensioner.

Totur · 20/06/2019 22:35

Yes, she looks so innocent... Meanwhile... She's plotting your incarceration.

WTF, along with the world travel, best house and solving murders, you get to meet George Clooney
She also gets to rub shoulders with Courtney Cox, Linda Hamilton and Tom Selleck.

I am so in. Where do I sign up? Grin

It seems that I'm not the only person of the opinion that JF is actually a grandiose psychopath bumping off people for the prestige of "solving" the crime...

CanoeDoYouThinkYouAre · 22/06/2019 21:54

Just bumping the thread to leave this here. Who is going to buy me all of this?

Ooh I want a murder she wrote tote bag!

Quintella · 22/06/2019 22:03

She has a great life.

Husband dead so nice Cabot Cove house to herself. Makes mega wonga as a crime writer, jogs about the place in a velour tracksuit, has an endless number of wealthy friends whose homes she's invited to. Never has a dull stay in said homes as someone always gets bumped off. And it's always a nice clean murder, a bump on the head or shot in the chest. No sex crimes, no torture. Just nice clean Reagan era murdering. And it's always solved because she notices someone isn't wearing the implausibly large earring they were wearing two days ago.

X2boys My Christmas list is done now!

ForeignBodies · 22/06/2019 22:08

Isn’t Jessica Fletcher meant to be a writer? You never see her writing though, do you?

I’d quite fancy her lifestyle, too. Best selling author with minimal effort and getting to be a nosey bint.

x2boys · 22/06/2019 22:19

How did her husband die did she bump him off too.......

UpTheLaganInABubble · 22/06/2019 22:20

Justblockthebitch · 22/06/2019 23:25

I will admit it's a guilty pleasure, always um and ah when I see it but end up watching it anyway and enjoy it.

Quintella · 22/06/2019 23:35

I like when she goes to Ireland where the diddly-aye music is piped in via sonos throughout the countryside.

Quintella · 22/06/2019 23:38
