My lovely younger cousin is turning 21 and i have absolutely no idea what to get her or what she might like. We get on well but 21 is a looong time ago for me to remember and things are different these days anyway.

She's from a pretty well off family and although a student she lives at home and has a well paid part time job so often goes out for nice dinners and has her hair done regularly. That's just to say that she's not going without anything that i might buy her, and if i did it would probably not be as nice as what she's used to. Argh! I love her to bits and want her to feel special and loved. I'm also not great at buying gifts for people, i find it really hard and worry about it more than necessary i think.

I was thinking an experience gift? Or is that lame? A bottle of fizz just gets consumed so maybe something else small but personal? Even just ideas of types of gifts would be helpful!

Thanks in advance

A first edition of a favourite book, if she has one.
Newspaper from the day she was born.

Nice piece of jewellery.

Experience gifts are amazing.

My similarly special and amazing cousin loves animals, so for her 18th I bought her a ‘Meet and feed meerkats’ experience.

Abergavennie brilliant! She does love pugs and alpacas so maybe that's something i could try and find!

Just remembered she's going to the US with friends in a few weeks. Maybe something for that?

If she likes alpacas, my DD has done a walk with llamas which was great fun, and I have seen one of my FB friends has done a walk with alpacas.
