12 weeks and already got it for the second time badly. First time it went away after about 4 days which is what I was expecting this time. It's now been a full week, the itching is severe on the outside and up, the discharge is bad (sorry!) and I've cracked the skin from it being so badly sore.
I literally can't get to the GP at all next week and have been told that pharmacists can't do anything when you're pregnant.
Should I keep hope that this'll sort itself out? Any natural ways you've found to help at least decrease the symptoms??

Have you tried anything already? Midwife told me you can use a canesten pessary as long as you insert it by hand and not with the plastic applicator. You can also use the external cream. I'm 38 weeks pregnant though so worth checking the rules aren't different for 12 weeks. Also cut down on sugar as much as possible and eat live yoghurt. Not sure if eating live yoghurt really helps but wouldn't hurt to try

Hi OP

Doctor and midwife told me canesten cream and pessary (as long as you are v careful and dont push it too far in) are fine. As long as it is thrush and not anything else.

I had it all through pregnancy off and on including in my mouth, and athletes foot, so all hormonal.

I'd put on a big cardi and go to the.chemost for cream or send someone else to pick it up for you

Please note I'm not medically qualified and if theres any chance of a bacterial infection or sti definitely go to the doctors

Also local sexual health clinic in my area do walk ins and can diagnose and treat thrush and bv (more gynae related than sexual.health related) so might be an option if you cant get a doctor appointment

You can buy pessaries and cream in the supermarket without needing to speak to a pharmacist

Have they checked your blood sugars? Could be diabetes.

When my blood sugars are high and causing it then drinking lots of water helps
