To ask if someone is still entitled to live in their property

My friends ds is going to uni in September. He will have accommodation at uni but obviously will be home in the holidays. Will she still be allowed to keep her house as he still technically needs his home or will the housing trust move her to a smaller property?

Thank you for all replies. He has a job in his home town that will take him back in the holidays. He’s not planning on working during term time due to what he will be studying.

lazypuppy I was in halls for the full 4 years and they closed for all the holidays so of course I went home to my family. I had a job in my hometown which I went back to every holiday. I also had a grant to cover accommodation whilst I was at university. My degree was pretty much full days of lectures and tutorials every day and I had to study in the evenings so didn't have time for a job as well.
