My beautiful cat has died suddenly and I’m in so much pain. I don’t know how to get through the day. I have no one to talk to. My heart is broken.
Also last night someone stole my security camera from outside and that has unnerved me a lot. It’s nothing compared to my bereavement but I’m scared and the police haven’t been helpful.
I just can’t stop crying and I feel like I will never get over losing my cat. I loved him so much.

I’m just so sad and desperately unhappy. I can’t stop crying and I don’t want to go back to work. I’m going to say a friend has died and I need time off. I loved him so much. It was so shocking. I’m so sorry he suffered so much.

I’m so sorry to hear of your loss
Have you got a picture you would like to share?
It takes a while but it will get easier - be kind to yourself and grieve in whatever way is right for you
I have mourned every cat I’ve lost over the years some horrendously so
Hope at some point in the future you get through this and feel you can welcome another animal into your life

I lost my 17yo boy two years ago next month. He’s still the screensaver on my phone, I keep his little collar tag on my keys. The most beautiful cat I’ve ever known and I miss him so very much. Let yourself cry and scream, I spent the first few days after he died sobbing uncontrollably. Flowers

I lost my dog after 11 years. We still talk about her now and it's been ten years. I still have her picture in my bedroom.

I now have a lovely cockapoo puppy and she is amazing. The pain will lesson and you will look back in love ❤️

When someone tells me a relative has died, I feel huge sympathy and offer my condolences.

But when someone tells me their pet has died, I want to hug them, pour them wine and tell them it will get easier to cope with the pain of losing them, that their pet had the best luck in the world by having such a wonderful owner and they couldn't have possibly done more for them.

I tried to post a picture but I couldn’t do it. Thanks to anyone who has taken the time to comment. I think I’m still in shock. I have another cat- his twin and I am so sorry for him too. They’ve never been apart before. They are 9. I had them from kittens.
