Had reception meeting today.

Schedule says dinner at midday.

Aibu to think it isn't bloody dinner if it'd the second meal of the day??

I'm gonna pretend this is lighthearted but she also talked about what things they'll be learning the children so grrrrr

There is an element of regionalism in "learning them", when I was a youth worker the kids used it lots, we always corrected it but of course we were too old to know how to talk.. She is definately at least a decade younger than me so perhaps I'm just not down with it.

Dinner is a hot meal. It can be at lunch time "school dinners" and/ or it can be in the evening.
A lighter evening meal is "tea".

Teaching is sharing knowledge so other people learn.
Learning is gaining knowledge.

It’s lunch at lunchtime. School lunch if at school. Just make sure your child understands the difference between that and dinner which is a party or formal meal in the evening.

Children very rarely eat dinner !

Tbf he'd happily have the same meal at any time of the day so he won't overly care (except they don't do it!)
