what would happen to his stuff?

I have a Will. Made before we married, in contemplation of marriage and basically covers each eventuality with/without children, if i die before him etc.

I have said to DH he needs to get his shit together and sort one out. Been saying it for a few years and DS is almost 5.

So. What would happen to his stuff car, house, personal effects if he died before me? or after me?

I do wish people wouldn’t add their two pennyworth if they do not know the answers leads to confusion! Read teacups post only

If you are married you don’t necessarily “get the lot” if your estate is above £250k and you have children.

@Hollihobbi - I think you are right - not just what people inherit but also the time it takes to sort stuff out. When my FIL died - it was lucky between 3 siblings they could cover costs in the short term . A 12 yr probate would have been a problem. I honestly think a properly made will just helps those after you. DH & I have done it. DFIL did not sort out will after DMIL died - it took a bit to sort that out. Honestly - personally I would not leave it to - I am his wife so all good .

unless you murder him, because you can't benefit from a criminal act you would loose a lot, including your freedom.

If you get caught...
