Arggh I DONT want him Angry none of our printers work and apparently a hand drawn picture of DS and THT just won’t cut it

Here’s a tip for anyone who’s never had the Ted. When you get him for the first time (or any time that isn’t likely your last time, even) take a series of photographs of the bloody thing doing variants of the following:

  • playing hide and seek
  • playing cards
  • reading a book
  • drawing a picture
  • sitting down for dinner
  • watching a movie

And so on.... (your child does not need to be in any of these photos by the way). Then for ONE TIME ONLY print out a selection of different photos, stash them away and use a different one each time the Ted comes home with the guise of ‘we had such fun playing/doing x with Ted last night’ etc.... choose the picture in advance and then just make DC okay whatever game/activity is in the photo.

If you need more, then just get your DC to draw something that resembles absolutely anything at all.

@AngelOfDeathNix

What was your Dad doing with the class badger Grin 😂?

CocoDeMoll · 10/06/2019 21:11

We’ve had the bear twice now. Once when dd has just got a newborn brother... THT watched Mummy lactate and cry.

Are there any teachers around who can explain what these take home toys are supposed to achieve?
As a TA I was never sure but I do know that we (inwardly) groaned and skimmed through incredibly lengthy diary entries.
Short and sweet with hand drawn pictures were welcomed.

I gave the class bear a DIY spa day and took pictures 😁
