To think there should be a specific toddler teether?

Is there such a thing? My 22 month old is getting the final molars and is suffering. She's not interested in baby teething toys. Her fingers are permanently in her mouth and covered in drool. She has bad eczema and her hands are out of control (esp with the itch) as they're always wet however often I slather on barrier ointment.
Why don't they make a teether bigger mouths?

Sophie, the length of the leg in particular helped with back teeth

Would a matchstick monkey work?

Morticiaismystyleicon · 08/06/2019 20:13

Children with sensory needs are given chewy tubes where I work, all shapes and sizes and can withstand proper chewing. The baby teethers aren't recommended for an older child.

Another vote for Sophie. That giraffe is a saviour. Also mine quite liked chewing on a tooth brush and long carrot sticks.

There's one called the molar mallet which is designed so that they can fit in their mouth for the back molar.
It's for 12 months plus

I second the Molar Mallet 👌 it is designed so they can't put it too far in their mouth and so that if dropped it always lands the right way up

The matchstick monkey is for up to 3 year oldsSmile
