Thank you to all of you who have said kind words about our dear Cromwell. We all understand how much these little creatures are loved and how much missed.

We are thinking about adopting an older cat after we return from our family holidays. DH and I are old and do not think it is fair to have a kitten, but a cat in need of love and security might like to live with us for as long as we are capable. Our DS, also a cat lover, could take over if necessary.

A lovely thread. I had to post these photos because the kittens are adorable. They have been rescued and do not live with me, but, hopefully, they will soon find their 'forever' homes.

Mine were from Cp ,they were rescued from a 1 bedroom flat that had 32 adult cats and umpteen litters

This is my Siamese. This is typical of her, she loves a cuddle and will do anything for attention. I love her so much.

Sorry to hear about the loss of Cromwell the cat. They are such dear friends.

Posted too soon..they are such dear friends to us, our pets and I will be heartbroken when mine goes.

Me too , we lost one at one and a half , think he was hit by a car , I was devastated , he was my friend , still miss him 10 years on

My current crop of fosters. Mum came with two black kittens. A couple of weeks later I was sent another pair of black kittens, younger than the first ones, and mum cat adopted them as her own.
