I have to have a paper dairy for work (academic). I normally have 2/3 appts every day.

Please recommend a super duper exciting one?

Am so bored of standard day per view, week per view is fine as long as I will love it for a whole year Grin

I've got a filofax clipbook. I love it. I wanted something smart that had a soft feel to it, it's perfect.

I usually get a dodopad dodopad. It's great and fun. I've found it possibly better for family use than single person business use but you could use the sections for anything you wanted.

Last year I got the Palgrave Student Planner - I'm not a student - I teach privately and so I need an academic year diary. It has served the purpose really well.

I've just bought, during a trip to France, this diary in a slightly different colour (brighter pinky red). It was cheaper in France - around £18 - but still quite an extravagance. It is a thing of beauty. I'm happy just admiring it at present. I can't use it yet as it starts in August, but I'm very keen to. The pages are silky smooth.

I love diaries and planners! I'd happily have more than one if I could find a reason to.

WhatIfIHadnt · 06/06/2019 21:54

Just own it... it wouldn’t be an iPhone autocorrect 😊

TheoriginalLEM · 06/06/2019 21:57

Blatant place marking

Morgan12 · 06/06/2019 21:59

I just checked actually and my phone did autocorrect to stationary. Samsung though.

AveEldon · 06/06/2019 21:59

I like paperblanks

Hippychick78 · 06/06/2019 22:02

Gorgeous. And very practical. The paper is wonderful.

Hippychick78 · 06/06/2019 22:03

'Mums office' diaries are great. A week to a page and the page beside in columns. Gorgeous colours too.

AliceRR · 06/06/2019 22:05

I love my Filofaxes. I have used the professional inserts and the week to view by currently using the Paperchase inserts.

I like Kikki K and Erin Condren too

I don’t like the Collins Elite. I found it chunky, clunky and not very user friendly

Breaker, as a millionaire, why are you on mumsnet? Not sure that’s how I would be spending my time if I was loaded.

😂

littlepooch · 06/06/2019 22:05

Another vote for busy b.

The mums office ones look good and I nearly went for one of those this year.

AliceRR · 06/06/2019 22:05

Epic copy and paste fail there 🙈🙈

InfiniteDreams · 06/06/2019 22:06

Large Kikki K (A5 size). 😍

Knittedfairies · 06/06/2019 22:08

Ooh... I love stationery too. I have a number of Paperblank notebooks; all pristine and unused. (I write notes on scraps of paper though - I'm waiting until I have something deep and meaningful to write in my lovely notebooks)

Badabingbadabum · 06/06/2019 22:21

Mum's Office or Blox diaries. Have the former this year as I left buying too late and all the Blox ones all sold out. They have genuinely made my week more organised and look nice.

AliceRR · 06/06/2019 22:27

If you have a TK Maxx near you I would recommend you see what they have

I’m very picky with stationery but I saw a few diaries I liked the last time I was in TK Maxx. I didn’t buy them as I’m using my Filofaxes at the moment but I was very tempted. They sometimes have branded items too like Ralph Lauren, Filofax and Kikki K

AliceRR · 06/06/2019 22:29

Or you could look online

They had these (in various colours and design) when I went in. They looked better quality in person

passionplanner.com/

Passion planners are awesome. Even though they sound like you’re organising your sex life.

I like Moleskine diaries - there's a model which is A5 size with the week on left hand side, and a page on the right with just lined paper which I use for the week 's to do list. I've used them for the past 7-8 years or so, and they do plain colours or design link ups (The Little Prince, Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland).

I get the academic year ones and start using from around August; then I can transfer anything for Sept-Dec across to the new diary from the current one. I normally replace at about this time of the year, so it'll be time to say goodbye to my Harry Potter Marauder's Map diary. I'm thinking it'll probably be le Petit Prince next, though Alice or Dr Seuss could be contenders.....

Good choice. I like these too and they’re quite compact

I’ve also used another brand which does a similar format...

(Having to look it up)

Toffeecakes · 06/06/2019 22:54

I love Box Clever, especially all the accessories and the fact you can clip sheets in and.move the pages around. Best diary I’ve ever had.

bridgetreilly · 06/06/2019 22:59

Scribbles That Matter Bullet Planner.

Originallymeonly · 06/06/2019 22:59

I went to learn Bullet Journalling yesterday, might be revolutionary, doesn't need a fancy diary, just a notebook. Have a Google see if it tempts you.
I do also have the Organised Mum/Boxclever Press Life Book to start in August but I usually have a work diary and family diary.
