To ask what you pay for private healthcare?

Just curious. I don't have private healthcare and am very concerned about what will happen to our NHS after Brexit, so trying to prepare myself (especially after Trumps speech today).

How much for a regular, healthy family of 4? Is it also a monthly outlay? And what level does that cover?

@User8888888 if the last 3+ years have got you thinking that we have a sane government in anyway then I want whatever you’re smoking!

We pay about £250 a month for Bupa for DH and I. That is subsidised massively by DH’s work and it includes maternity.

MustardScreams Clearly Brexit is a shambles but the point still stands that no-one with any sense would ever seek to recreate the US payment system. It would also be electoral suicide. Private provision of services is an entirely different beast.

H gets excellent cover through work. We pay £32 a month for very comprehensive cover with medical history disregarded.i dread to think what we would have to pay for a similar policy.
