Typo, or fake mistake the way to attract attention and get publicity for the property.

There were a few examples of such "mistakes" from Estate Agents on various properties, some too obvious to be even funny.

Must be £200,000 . Photos are terrible. What do you think it would cost to do it up. Looks like it needs floors replacing, central heating, re-plastering, electrics, kitchen, bathroom, fireplace, windows, garage demolishing, possibly roof?

I think the ceilings have come down in the bedrooms and that's why there's no pictures of them. If you look on google maps, the only garden is about 2m square behind the garage, and the back wall has no windows. So the kitchen has only that side window that you see in the picture, and the box room upstairs has no window at all. There are many houses in the surrounding streets of the same overall style and with a garden. £200,000 is ambitious.

I Think the inclusion of Picture number 2 , and at number two, just as you are thinking ‘pretty, double fronted, bow Windows’ demonstrates that the EA might not have got their Cubs House Selling Badge yet.

Also no Photographers Badge, as every single picture had a black shadow line across the top L side.

They could not be making a worse job of selling it. DH says it went on at £300,000 a week ago. He sent it to his sister who is thinking of doing something up to sell on. She thought it was way over at £300,000 even if it had been immaculate. A week later it is £2,000,000!

Looking at the ‘similar properties’ list on Benjamin Stevens own website I would say they almost certainly deal exclusively in houses where a murder has taken place.

All are empty, except one which just has a picture of a washing line in the snow with a few ragged and frozen clothes hanging. All the pictures are taken in the dark. Despair in every shot.

Um - odd - property in the north and agent in Edgware N London.

I can see using Property Tracker, that it was listed only a few weeks ago at £300. So, they've just tried to drop the price by £100K and increased it to £2m instead!

I wonder if the £300k was a mistake also. A bit odd to drop £100K off the price of a £300K house only weeks after going on the market, isn't it?
