Really can happen? Just that really. I hear stories of people getting pregnant using condoms but I thought the statistics were they were roughly 98% effective. Tell me your stories of using condoms correctly and still getting pregnant. Does this actually happen?

3 kids, two from condoms, 1 from rhythm method I know that's not a contraceptive but it worked for 5 years ) Luckily for me they were all blessings and I thank the universe for my failed contraceptives !

So glad to hear it's calculated over a year as I am really scared of having an accident :)

@MorondelaFrontera I'm aware of that (should be really with how long it took us to concieve!) I'm just curious about the answer to PPs question about whether the 2% includes breaks or whether they're part of the typical use failures.

Bear in mind contraception is one of the first thing mentioned to you by midwives after giving birth (absolutely spot on timing really Grin ), I wonder why they don't remind people of the risk of condoms!
