Really sorry, that's gross this time in the morning. But I'm going to an event today and look hideous with an almost squeezable spot but am scared to touch it and make it worse. I'm 30, not had a spot in years and have forgotten how stressful I find it. Tips very much welcome. Thanks so much!

Oh bummer. I obviously meant spot! I really should have spot checked the title!

Hot cloth on top for a min to bring pus to the surface. Then use a sterilised needle or pin to pop it. Then use a flannel or tissue to squeeze it (never use your nails). Once popped use ice to take down the inflammation. Good luck!

Ah thank you!! @Goldenphoenix that sounds easy enough.

Try some sudocrem on it after you pop it, drys it out and takes the redness down.

Also a dab of calamine lotion will dry it out aswell!

I'm 40 and never really had teenage acne or suffered from spots. The last 4 months I have started to suffer badly from spots on my chin. Not small ones, huge ones that are blind for weeks and then get nearly ready to burst and eventually, despite my best efforts I end up squeezing them and now they are scarring my chin. So fed up with it. Sudocrem seems to help take the swelling down.

Thanks everyone. Did a combo of all the above and am pretty happy with the outcome x
