For you to tell me your worst holiday stories?

Sat here feeling sorry for myself 5 days into a two week all inclusive to Mexico. My partner has slipped this morning on a wet floor due to heavy rainfall and has fractured his shoulder and is now in agony in a sling. We spent the morning in A&E, hotel manager very disingenuous and unsympathetic and now facing 9 days of probably quite an unenjoyable break. Am I being unreasonable to ask you to tell me your worst holiday stories to help cheer me up?!

Another Lesvos and exH in his wisdom decided to 'hire' a car from the hotel manager. A Golf convertible which it transpired the manager had converted himself by removing the roof with metal cutters. Driving about in said death trap when we hit some rock that had fallen from a cliff face, destroying the tyre. The owner of the car went mad and tried to get us to pay for both the wheel and tyre so I argued back re clauses in the (knocked off) contract. He said he didn't understand the clauses so a tyre was in fact a wheel. It all got a bit heated but fortunately we were leaving the next day. Waiting in the departures area airside and the car owner appeared with some heavies looking for us - I've no idea how they got through security. We managed to hide in the crowds but sweating it as the flight was delayed. Never have I been happier to be in a plane taking off.
