Where to buy boys joggers?

For 4 year old. Fed up with them being too big at waist.

But need the size for the length.

He’s average size I would say. So not even really skinny.

H&M

Gap

Waveysnail · 01/06/2019 17:20

Decathalon. Cheap as chips and look nice on

scottgirl · 01/06/2019 17:22

Next 'spray on fit' £9, buy a size up. They actually fit my very slim (zero centile) very tall Son.

shitpark · 01/06/2019 18:54

I have slim 7 year old, I always buy his from H and M.

TwoleftUggs · 01/06/2019 18:59

I have a wide waisted DS so guess the places where I find the joggers are always too tight would be your best bet Smile So matalan, next and H&M. Those places are always miles too tight. M&S too but you already mentioned theirs.

SmarmyMrMime · 01/06/2019 19:23

I struggle with my kids. They can normally keep them up once the legs are an inch too short! We're normally at Morrisons and Sainsbury's

Decathlon leggings are good. They must cut small as I tend to end up getting a larger age than usual, although I can still wear their age 14 tops (size 8)

WhiteRedRose · 01/06/2019 19:26

Next. They used do three packs for £10-15.

LightsInOtherPeoplesHouses · 01/06/2019 19:59

DS is tall for his age, H&M ones have been brilliant.

itscallednickingbentcoppers · 01/06/2019 20:00

Dunnes do nice slim joggers if you have one nearby.

ipswichwitch · 01/06/2019 20:03

H&M - both my boys are skinny and they fit perfectly. I find they wash well and are fairly robust (which is good since DS2 spends most of his days sliding about on his knees!). Like the fact you can get a good array of colours and designs too.

TestingTestingWonTooFree · 01/06/2019 20:06

Primark joggers went bobbly. Asda joggers (from the PE kit range) have lasted well and not faded.

SnowyAlpsandPeaks · 01/06/2019 20:10

Ds15 has always hated jeans preferring jogger type bottoms. As your ds, when he was little he could get a hole in them on day one. So we had ‘best’ joggers for when we went out, and the ‘play’ joggers, which were the cheaper ones and the holey ones! My exsil who was an ace dressmaker, would either stitch the hole, or would put a patch over it with something on e.g Spider-Man, always looked really good. Just an idea!

hazeyjane · 01/06/2019 20:13

Morrisons are great. Slim fitting and very soft inside.

pokepoke · 01/06/2019 20:19

H&M and Sainsburys

danni0509 · 01/06/2019 21:05

We get ds' from next, he's quite long in the leg.

MuddyMoose · 01/06/2019 21:08

Primark is my go to. I have a tall, skinny almost 3 year old & trying to find any trousers that don't drop off but fit in length is such a battle.

janetforpresident · 01/06/2019 21:34

M&s joggers have lasted for us. He doesn't put a hole in them and he does in cheaper ones. Also they wash really well and all their cotton is now sustainably sourced which is great if that's something that's important to you.

NoNoNoOohmaybe · 01/06/2019 21:44

I love leggings rather than joggers for my skinny boy. We do Zara. Fab designs, don't go baggy and last really well bum and knees

Justgorgeous · 01/06/2019 21:55

Zara.

IfOnlyIKnewThen · 01/06/2019 22:11

Another vote for GAP. Never bought Dd joggers when she was young so when I had ds and I started buying joggers, it came as a complete shock that shops found it acceptable to sell joggers with faux draw string Angry.

Please check out GAP. The quality and range are excellent...but never ever pay full price. They have online sales almost daily. Wait to the full price clothes are on 40% on everthing (usually lasts a couple of days). They also have a sale section where clothes are often up to 70% off.

Random18 · 01/06/2019 22:50

Thanks everyone. Some good tips! I will have a look at M&S / Next. If they survive him playing then it’s worth the wee bit extra.

O’ll Pop in to some of the others shops too when i’m Next in town.

Hopefully it will be shorts for the next while (still got another few years out of them 😂😂).

DD is easier. H&M for jeans and lives in leggings rest of time. She is skinny so don’t even bother buying certain types of trousers for her.

Primark do slim fit which are quite a good fit

TheBitterBoy · 01/06/2019 22:56

I have a skinny tall 11 year old. Over the years I've always had success with H&M, Decathlon, and Boden (actual functioning drawstring makes a big difference)

TurquoiseAndPurple · 01/06/2019 23:08

The Little Bird range at mother care is always lovely and the joggers are a great length!
