to think knee and elbow plasters are never big enough

dc has another scraped knee.
unfortunately they like to fiddle with it so unless it's covered it never heals.
I have bought a pack of elbow & knee plasters but they are not big enough.
who designs such rubbish?

The large plasters included in the Boots ones below are massive. However they only contain 2 of the larger sizes so are probably more expensive than standard plasters - you’re supposed to keep these on until they naturally detach though so you don’t need to replace them as often. You can also try the same brand in purple packaging (can’t find them online)

You need the strips you cut. Cut in the middle, from the side up to the white pad bit. Put the top half on bent knee, then wrap the bottom half round. Much cheaper!

thanks mua
we use the smaller ones of those for smaller grazes, but have never seen the bigger ones on the shelf

Was referring to these ones:

It says burns but they’d be fine for grazes too - the actual wound covering per of the plaster is quite large. So you could use these for a week or so then switch back to normal plasters as it heals
