Bat I used to like Starmer but someone told me he spoke to his kids in a restaurant the same way he speaks on tv and that put me off him.

I think Rory Stewart looks uncannily like the actor Willem Dafoe.

I think he's being set up as the fall guy. Im sure being diplomat in Iraq goes to those who pull the short straw. I suppose he's got more sex appeal and than the other Tory wannabes but that's not saying much.

Yes totally get it! He's got a touch of Abraham Lincoln about him! He's likeable, intelligent and charismatic and has impressed a lot of people including people like me who would never vote Tory. The world is so unfair that there are smart people like him that could be prime minister but instead we get a numpty. I heard that Brad Pitt’s film company even bought the rights to a biopic about him so guess Brad could play him in a movie!
