I'm having a shite time atm, went to pictures to see Rocketman yesterday and found the sex scene between Taron Egerton and Richard Madden the hottest thing I've ever seen. Seriously, if you're a menopausal old hound looking for a boost in the fanjo, go and watch this on a loop.

However I was surprised the sex scene showed so little and was so brief after the way it had been discussed in interviews.

Me too. Given the hype I was expecting something much more explicit. If it had been a hetero sex scene I think it would have barely registered a weak PG. It seems the mere fact of gayness is still enough to make something shocking.

It did nothing for me either, in fact I barely noticed it. Didn’t find Elton attractive either, although he is slightly better looking than the real Elton his partner/ manager just looked like a young Neil Diamond, but it was the 70’s.
The actor playing Bernie Taupin on the other hand.......Mmmm

Great film though, even better than the recent Queen one imo.

I was taken aback by the hugh jackman faking an orgasm scene in the eddie the eagle film. That was quite unexpected in a gentle comedy film and definitely a fanjo boost

I went to see Dorian Gray with both my mum and my nan when I was in my late teens. Did not expect the orgy scene.

I went to see it with my DH and 12yo DD, as I couldn't see a rating listed. Poor girl kept sticking her head between her knees!!

I did involuntarily exclaim "Wow" at that sex scene and made my neighbour look over 😂

Taron Egerton is one of the few actors I've seen whose been able to show pure lust towards another man just in his expression (see trailer).

Brilliant film but preferred Bohemian Rhapsody (which also has John Reid played by another actor).
