To think this was utterly revolting and to wish I’d said something?

We were queuing at a theme park today for a family ride. Family in front of us with a small child of perhaps three plus older child.

The 3yo vomits. Copiously. Like an entire puddle across the walkway, chunks and all. The dad got out the wet wipes and tissues and started sort of scraping it up. I think we all just stood there waiting for the mother to leave the queue with the child but she didn’t.

After a few minutes of scraping puke into a corner they left the pile of tissues and just carried on. We sort of shuffled forward a bit, and I poured my half bottle of water over it to try and sluice it. No one said anything, it was all very British.

Interestingly both parents then got out their own water bottles and... drank from them.

Anyway, much nervous shuffling and ignoring and the queue moved on. Until about ten minutes later when the same mum pushed past us with a full (open!) potty of wee in her hands. Presumably she went to the end of the queue to empty it? No one that I could see came back with a mop or anything so I don’t think she mentioned the puke incident.

I went to say something and DH nudged me not to make a fuss but come on. Really? The family behind were also doing the same loud muttering but none of us actually said to the couple that they were actually inconsiderate and disgusting.

They then merrily got on the ride with their puking pissing child and that’s the last we saw of them.

I double dare you to find a reasonable excuse for this. The only thing I was BU about here was not saying something, I reckon.

Seriously disgusting, I'd have ran a mile at the first sight of puke.
I can't believe people are trying to justify this, maybe they're a bit skanky tooConfused

Of course they are.

Why are people assuming it's Legoland?
I've never been and doubt I ever will if this is the type of behaviour exhibited there.
Why on earth would you take a sick child on a ride!??
Seriously why?
As for the potty full of piss- well words fail me.
I'm picturing the woman in leggings and a t shirt and the man in a scruffy unironed motif t shirt and jeans which don't fit.

We were in the cue to board a plane coming home from holiday, the plane had been delayed 2 hours so everyone was rushing on, I was carrying baby and folded pram dp had 3 cabin cases and our 4
Year old when the 4 year old threw up! It was a fair amount and I rushed to the flight staff and tried to explain but they couldn't understand a bloody word. By the time I had tried to explain everyone was all ready on the plane so we just left it. It's been over a week and I still feel mortified about it.

Cherylshaw · 29/05/2019 15:14

Don't know why I shared that but this post reminded me of it. The potty of piss is really rank don't know what she was thinking!

anitagreen · 29/05/2019 15:24

This reminds me of when I went out with a friend and she was potty training her youngest we was in Sainsbury's or Asda's one of them and she let her son curl out a turd in the potty and then carried on holding the potty whilst she got the last few bits. Then she asked me to mind the trolley whilst she emptied it why she didn't just ask me straight away I don't know but I didn't say nothing never occurred to me to I just was puzzled inside and we didn't go out again for ages Grin

I live 20 mins from Windsor and as far as I know Legoland is the only theme park in Windsor

I’m so glad my dcs are too old for that place now, especially after reading the OP’s post Grin

Ah I see Krazykitty.
We went somewhere with the kids and dd1 wanted a ride on the pirate ship. Just before our turn a young girl threw up whilst on the pirate ship. The attendant stopped the ride, got everyone off and cleaned away all the vomit.
He then told all the passengers they could have a free ride. The girl looked terrible and just wanted to go. Her mum then asked the attendant for her money back because her daughter "had not had a full turn on the ride".
The attendant explained he couldn't give her her money back as the ride was
token operated and so he had no cash, she had paid at a booth to get a token to go on th e ride. She then flounder off shouting "well I'll go to the booth then and get a refund there!"
The rest of us were speechless.
She then returned shouting " What is your name, I'm going to report you ? "
He turned to us and asked if he had done something wrong in out opinion.
We said absolutely not, the woman was batshit. Her poor dd looked greener by the minute
