And shout eeeee-orrr when he walked in the door clutching the walkers sensations Thai sweet chilli crisps that I'd asked for?

FloatingObject · 26/05/2019 12:46

Slap him on the haunch and say the quote from Babe: "that'll do pig, that'll do"

donkeyy · 26/05/2019 12:51

I changed my name for this post hence the donkey name Hmm

Why is everyone so serious? My husband laughs. I think some people relax! Have a snack

Tinkobell · 26/05/2019 12:51

I suspect we'd have to really be there to appreciate the hilarity. If it was turned back on you OP, I think most women don't like being referred to as anything horsey.....

CustardySergeant · 26/05/2019 12:52

He came in with the item that you'd asked him to get for you. Surely the normal reaction is to thank him, not take the piss out of him and call him names.

donkeyy · 26/05/2019 12:52

I would laugh in disbelief and then find something worse to say. My husband and I are good friends, it's just messing about.

Should I have put 'lighthearted' in the title Hmm

Tinkobell · 26/05/2019 12:52

....errr cos it just ain't that funny?! The funniest part is people who laugh at their own jokes! 😂

donkeyy · 26/05/2019 12:53

Guess you have to be there

OP posts:
PutyourtoponTrevor · 26/05/2019 12:55

Yeah, not funny would be my guess why people aren't laughing.

donkeyy · 26/05/2019 12:56

We do have a pretty niche sense of humour. Not all snack related

OP posts:
Deadringer · 26/05/2019 12:57

Only if he is hung like a donkey

Careradvice2019 · 26/05/2019 13:11

Only if he is hung like a donkey@Deadringer

Now THAT is funny 😂

WorraLiberty · 26/05/2019 13:17

I call mine Wine Butler which makes us laugh but it would be far too mundane to start a thread about really.

Possibly the weirdest part of this thread is that you name changed to post it Grin

Ginkypig · 26/05/2019 13:17

Ass= donkey

Snackdonkey

Or

Snackass

FloatingObject · 26/05/2019 13:41

@donkeyy
I actully found this really funny 😊

FloatingObject · 26/05/2019 13:42

I prefer snack mule

SkintAsASkintThing · 26/05/2019 16:12

I can't believe you've had to stick a Light-hearted disclaimer on your post OP.

Fucking hell, some poster on this forum make me cringe they really do. God I miss the good old days, when one brain wasn't shared around 50 women and the daily mail weren't knocking on our inboxes >

AxelsRose · 26/05/2019 16:20

I found it hilarious 😂 I wouldn’t dare do it to my DH but I’d love to 😁

P.s mumsnet is overrun by miserable bastards. Such a shame as it never used to be

TheGrey1houndSpeaks · 26/05/2019 16:23

So many people finding this hilarious... God love you

SkintAsASkintThing · 26/05/2019 16:24

It's embarrassing Axel's

We have to explain everything, in 50 different formats. What the fuck went wrong ??

I actually blame the media and the fact it's become so mainstream, the content and responses has seriously dumbed down. 😭😭😭

AxelsRose · 26/05/2019 16:33

@SkintAsASkintThing I know it’s so sad. I’ve recently rejoined but was probably around at the time of Sharon and the wasp, Willy willy willy etc and my god it was a funny site back then. I spent time on mumsnet on an evening rather than watching TV as it was more entertaining.

It’s certainly changed around here 😞

Firstimpressionsofearth · 26/05/2019 16:35

A few people have clearly had a sense of humour removal.

SkintAsASkintThing · 26/05/2019 16:36

Axel's I keep chipping away at posting but it's crap.

I very rarely posts threads and wouldn't ask for advice.

But it comes to something when someone posts a very obvious snippet of banter between her and her partner and fellow posters are literally too thick to get it. I mean, honestly 🙄🙄🙄Hmm

HirooOnoda · 26/05/2019 16:39

@donkeyy not really very funny and would like become irksome after three or four seconds but quite frankly whatever works for you and your DH Grin

JonSnowsFurCoat · 26/05/2019 17:02

AxelsRose

I agree. I used to be around years ago and was a regular poster. Then I went off for a couple of years and have rejoined 3 years ago. It’s not the same. It used to be so funny and entertaining. Now it’s all about who can be the most miserable

donkeyy · 26/05/2019 17:32

Neither can I. So many fun sponges
